Families buy tickets on the day to dig for buried treasure sticks on Orewa Beach which they redeem for prizes.

Bring the whole family to enjoy a wide range of fun filled activities including carnival games & rides, stalls, Sandcastle Competition & Gnome Hunt, great food and refreshment stalls plus the famous Lions Quick Fire raffles & $2 community raffle tickets as well as the 2026 Calendar for sale.

9.30am – Ticket booth opens onsite and the fun kicks off!

10.00am – Quickfire raffles start – watch for the famous Lions winning wheel

10.00am – 11.15am – Sandcastle Competition hosted by Escapism Escape Rooms

11.00am – Under 5 year olds start digging for prizes, Gnome Hunt hosted by Matt Gilmour, Harcourts Orewa

11.30am – Over 5 year olds start digging for prizes

12.15pm – Prize drawers for Diggers, Sandcastle Competition & Gnome Hunt – you must be onsite in person to claim & collect

1.00pm – Major Community Raffle prize drawn and winner notified – entrants do not have to be present.

All profits donated to Hibiscus Coast Youth Hub.
