Extending along Ōrewa Beach from the mouth of the Ōrewa River, this recreation area has walkways, playgrounds, and sport surfaces.

Playgrounds, toilets, picnic tables and seating, basketball and volleyball courts, car park (including mobility), and barbecues are inside the reserve.
