It’s National Volunteer Week (15–21 June), and across the Hibiscus Coast, we’re raising a toast to the everyday legends who make this place better, quietly, constantly, and with heart.

They’re the ones coaching at rugby practice, putting out fires, planting trees on Saturdays, helping at the library, or making cups of tea at hospice.

They’re our neighbours, our mates, our family, and they show up time and time again.

Volunteers are the glue that keeps our community strong.

Whether it’s behind the scenes at fundraisers or out front leading beach clean-ups, their generosity is felt everywhere.

So if you spot one this week—say thanks.

Or better yet, ask how you can lend a hand too.
