The Blues are set to take on the Hurricanes in a highly anticipated DHL Super Rugby Pacific match at Eden Park this Saturday at 4:35pm.
The top-of-the-table clash will feature a unique family showdown, as Blues fullback Zarn Sullivan faces off against his brother, Bailyn, who plays for the Hurricanes.
Zarn Sullivan returns from a knee injury and is eager to make an impact. "It's a proud moment for our family," he said, adding, "It's cool to see Bailyn out there, playing good footy."
The brothers' family is united in their support, with no divided loyalties.
"They're just happy; they're just proud for us," Zarn said.
The Blues have made five changes to their starting lineup, with Marcel Renata, Sam Darry, Akira Ioane, AJ Lam, and Bryce Heem joining the starting XV.
Rieko Ioane is out due to concussion.
The Hurricanes have also made six changes, including Xavier Numia, Caleb Delay, Brad Shields, TJ Perenara, Kini Naholo, and Jordie Barrett.
Zarn Sullivan is aware of the significance of the match, stating, "It's a top-of-the-table clash... the boys will be up for the occasion."
He expressed his excitement to return to the field, saying, "I can't wait to get out there, put on the jersey, and throw my body around."
The match promises to be an intense and thrilling encounter, with both teams vying for top spot in the Super Rugby Pacific ladder. Kickoff is at 4:35pm tomorrow at Eden Park.
