Ed Sheeran opens his Loop Tour in Auckland on Friday, January 16, with two shows at GO Media Stadium.

The global superstar is launching his new tour run in New Zealand this week, with a second Auckland date on Saturday, January 17.

Sheeran is known for playing stadiums solo, using loop pedals to build songs live. His shows are billed as big in scale, but still personal in feel.

Fans can expect a career-spanning set.

The setlist is set to include new music from his 2025 album Play, including recent singles ‘Azizam’, ‘Sapphire’ and ‘Camera’.

It will also pull from his back catalogue, including ‘Shape Of You’, ‘Thinking Out Loud’, ‘Castle On The Hill’, ‘Perfect’, ‘Bad Habits’ and ‘Shivers’, plus more.

Support across the Australia and New Zealand leg includes Vance Joy and Melbourne artist Mia Wray. An all-female Irish collective, BIIRD, is also on the bill for the New Zealand shows.

For Hibiscus Coast locals weighing up a mid-January night out, seats are still available for both Auckland shows.
