If you’ve been wondering what IKEA might bring to New Zealand, they’ve just given a quiet first look.
The brand has shared five everyday items they think will fit right in with the way Kiwis live at home.
These aren’t showpieces.
They’re functional bits and pieces picked from what IKEA found in its Life at Home Report for New Zealand.
One of them is a shoe rack.
Not exactly glamorous, but if your front door is a jumble of boots and jandals, you’ll get it.
The MACKAPÄR rack stacks vertically to save space, and IKEA says nearly nine out of ten homes here struggle with cluttered entryways.
They’ve also highlighted the KALLAX shelving unit. It’s the kind of thing you can use for toys, books, crafts, or even as a room divider.
Helpful if your living room has to serve a few different purposes.
