Whether it’s jaw-dropping thrill rides or a leisurely trot on a horse carousel - the Auckland Adventure Park has something for everyone.

What better way to get the adrenalin pumping through your veins than by being launched into space in a self-controlled bungy, or becoming a plundering pirate and sailing into the horizon.

Auckland Adventure Park has all of these forms of entertainment for young and old - and the best thing about it is that it is right on our doorstep!

Situated on East Coast Road in Silverdale, the Auckland Adventure Park attracts all walks of life.  

The adventure rides are open on Saturdays and Sundays which means your weekends are never going to be boring again!

Older adventure seekers can get a burst of adrenalin when they enjoy the dual zipline, downhill luge and vertical bungy. Who can forget about the 4D 6-seat cinema.

Grab a friend and watch them lose their lunch on the head-first 260m zipline dive. Soar together through the trees and over the luge track. This is definitely not for the faint-hearted!

The Shooting Star vertical bungy will get you fired into the air at a maximum of 4G and feel that split second of weightlessness. You rotate and bob, before being pulled back to earth. 

The luge track is no place to get overconfident! You ride down a 600m purpose-built track with tight corners, steep drops and multiple speed bumps. 

It looks easy - but it isn’t! 

The quality luge carts are specially built to handle the bumps and sharp turns. Tandem rides are available for those between the ages of three and seven years old. 

There are weekday luge rides from Wednesday to Friday, just book online to make sure there is availability.

The 4D cinema is truly an amazing experience. It is a built-in simulator and you are immersed in the movie and watch it come to life.

The more relaxed options for the little ones (under 2’s) include a kid's play zone which is a fully covered open-sided playground with amusement rides. This will definitely have little ones wanting more. 

The Auckland Adventure Park offers something for everyone and is the only park of its kind in New Zealand. 

No outside food and drinks are allowed in, but there is also the Area 51 cafe where you can chill on the promenade decks and watch the fun unfold. They also cater for birthday parties where and functions.

The Kid's play zone and cafe are open during the school term from 10am to 4pm from Wednesday to Sunday. All other rides are open from 11am on weekends only. 

Adventure Park is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

During the school holidays, the Auckland Adventure Park is open from 11am on Wednesday to Sunday. 

Some rides may operate on a timetable.
