Two Hibiscus Coast venues are hosting New Year’s Eve parties tonight, giving locals a couple of easy ways to welcome 2026.

The Hibiscus Coast RSA in Stanmore Bay is running a New Year’s Eve Party from 7pm.

The venue is spacious, with a large dance floor and cosy seating, plus affordable drinks from the bar and free parking right outside.

Chef Ronnie will have the restaurant open for affordable meals and snacks to keep people going through the night.

Entertainment comes from Going Bananas, providing the music and running interactive activities with prizes. Entry is free, and the RSA is asking guests to text the number attending to 027 244 8714.

Paraoa Brewing Co. in Whangaparaoa is also hosting a New Year’s event, with the 80s New Year’s Experience starting at 8pm.

The night features The Breakfast Club, described as Auckland’s newest 80s party band, playing iconic hits and sing-along classics with full dance-floor energy as the countdown to 2026 approaches.

Sandra from Paraoa Brewing Co. says there’ll be great food, cold brews, and an 80s dress-up vibe for anyone keen to go retro.
