There’s that new-gym buzz in the air, with plates stacked, bikes set, and the room ready for its first crowd.

Iconic Fitness officially opens this Saturday, February 28, from 8am at 3/23 Wainui Road, Silverdale, with a free Spin Class at 9.30am.

The new gym focuses on small group strength and conditioning training.

Owner Danny Frost says Iconic Fitness is built to feel different to a franchised gym, including a membership cap of 350.

Personal training courses will also be available.

Opening Day comes with join-on-the-day giveaways, including seven Smart Rings valued at $350 each, plus five three-month memberships, one six-month membership, and one 12-month membership.

There are personal trainer challenges running through the day, alongside a supplement table hosted by Zombie Labs.

People can sign up on the day, with everything centred around the official launch.
