Latest Hibiscus and Bays Local Board election resultsJake Law from Team Coast.

The preliminary results for the local elections have caused a major shift in seats on the Hibiscus and Bays Local Board.


The Hibiscus Coast Subdivision has seen a new face taking a seat.


The youngest candidate, Jake Law from Team Coast, has crept into the fourth spot with 5 551 votes, knocking Nicholas Mitchell out. 


To date, the four seats will hold three Coast People candidates: Gary Brown (10 285 votes), Leanne Willis (7 832 votes), and Sam Mills (5 953 votes).


Fix Auckland candidate Wayne Brown is still in the lead for mayor with 180 173 votes, with Independent candiate Efeso Collins tailing on 122 420 votes. 


The candidates for Albany Ward, Putting People First candidates John Watson (20 367 votes) and Wayne Walker (19 798 votes) remain the same.
