NZ Transport Agency advises that maintenance work will be carried out on State Highway 1 (SH1) between Puhoi and Oteha Valley Road on Thursday 25 May between 9 pm and 5 am.

NX2 is also carrying out work between Silverdale and Puhoi as part of the Ara Tūhono – Pūhoi to Warkworth project.

There will be a full southbound closure and the following ramps will also be closed.

Signposted detours will be in place.

• Orewa (Grand Drive) southbound off-ramp
• Orewa (Grand Drive) southbound on-ramp
• Millwater (Wainui Road) southbound on-ramp
• Silverdale southbound on-ramp   
• Oteha Valley Road southbound off-ramp   

Please follow the recommended detour via Hibiscus Coast Road, Dairy Flat Highway and Oteha Valley Road.
