Coasties should take note of the upcoming maintenance work scheduled by the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) on State Highway 1 (SH1).

The maintenance work will involve various closures and detours, impacting different sections of the highway on specific dates and times.

The maintenance work is set to take place on the following dates and locations:

• Sunday, 14 July: Oteha Valley Road to Constellation Drive between 10 pm and 5 am.
• Monday, 15 July: Orewa interchange to Oteha Valley Road between 9 pm and 5 am.
• Tuesday, 16 July: Oteha Valley Road to Silverdale interchange between 9 pm and 5 am.
• Wednesday, 17 July: Constellation Drive to Oteha Valley Road between 10 pm and 5 am.
• Thursday, 18 July: Northcote Road to Constellation Drive between 10 pm and 5 am.

Please note that the work is weather dependent, and ramp closures and lane restrictions may be in place before the advertised closure times for the mainline.
