The Takapuna jewellery store has been broken into yet again as Auckland's crime wave continues.

Just after 2 am on Wednesday, emergency services were called to Michael Hill Jewellers on Hustmere Rd on Auckland's North Shore.

Police said in a statement that investigations into the Takapuna ram-raid are ongoing.

According to a police spokesperson, "a group of offenders entered the store before fleeing in the vehicle. Police are investigating what the offenders have stolen".

Roading contractors were called in to assist with the clean-up after shattered glass was seen strewn across the road.

Anyone with information about the ram-raid should contact the police, according to the spokesperson.
