Developers in Milldale celebrate as the last of the precast slabs is placed, marking a significant advancement in the construction of the Milldale State Highway 1 Crossing.

This bridge will link Milldale with Millwater and Silverdale, enhancing connectivity in the area.

With the steel framework now complete, the crossing officially transitions into a bridge, stretching over State Highway 1.

The upcoming phase focuses on completing the bridge deck, expected to finish by July.

The new bridge, spanning almost 100 meters in length and 19 meters in width, will be a crucial connection from John Fair Drive in Milldale to the Highgate Business Park and Silverdale.

Concrete pours for the bridge deck are scheduled for completion by July.

Following this, attention will turn to installing bridge and highway barriers, slated for September through October.

The final phase involves reconfiguring the Highgate Parkway intersection, targeted for completion in December.
