The Milldale State Highway 1 Crossing, colloquially known as the Highgate Bridge, serves as a pivotal piece of infrastructure, linking John Fair Drive in Milldale to the Highgate Business Park and extending further to Silverdale and Millwater.

Initiated in mid-2023, the project has seen diligent progress, with foundational work commencing and piling on both sides of State Highway 1 being completed ahead of schedule in October.

The construction timeline remains on track, with the bridge expected to be fully operational by the end of 2024.
