The final and largest 2.3ha site in the Highgate business park in Millwater will house a new Mitre 10 MEGA as well as a brand new distribution centre. 

With 84 locations currently spread across the North and South Islands, Mitre 10 has been a part of New Zealand's culture of home improvement since its founding in 1974.

Riviera Hardware Holdings, the company that owns the new Mitre 10 MEGA being built in Millwater, also owns the Mitre 10 MEGA locations in Albany, New Lynn, Warkworth, and Whangaparaoa.

With its new distribution centre based in Millwater, Riviera hopes to improve operations and hold fewer stocks in-store.

Work is progressing with the construction of the site.
