Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises that maintenance work will mean a full closure on State Highway 1 (SH1) northbound from Oteha Valley Road to Silverdale on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd February between 10pm and 5am.

This work is weather dependant and if required, will be carried out on the next available night.

The following ramps will also be closed. Signposted detours will be in place.

• Oteha Valley Road northbound on-ramp
• Silverdale northbound off-ramp

Please follow the signposted detour via Oteha Valley Road and Diary Flat Highway.

As the team will be cutting into the road and carrying out stormwater drainage and vegetation work there will be increased noise levels.
