New micro industrial development in SilverdaleShedQuarters is a new micro industrial development complex being built on one of the fastest growing industrial sites in Silverdale.

A new micro-industrial development complex will be built on one of the fastest-growing industrial sites in Silverdale.

ShedQuarters is being built on the corner of East Coast Road and Forge Roads in Silverdale.

It will house 21 new commercial units and warehouse/office spaces.

It is zoned for light industrial, so the business premises will range from warehousing, workshops and storage.

It has a prime corner location, with exceptional road front exposure. The sizes will range from between 87 and 147 square meters each.

The area where ShedQuarters will be built is one of New Zealand’s fastest-growing areas with low vacancy rates and strong demand for commercial and industrial properties.

It is also in the mapped area where the Silverdale Business Association plans to establish a BID (business improvement district), which will help boost and grow businesses.

The building will start in April and is expected to be finished towards the end of the year.

So far, three units have been sold to investors, who have plans to lease the units out.

Bayleys are selling the units for $740,000 per unit.

The ShedQuarters complex is architecturally designed for maximum versatility, providing secure freehold units with car parking, large motorised roller doors and a 6m stud height.

There is low maintenance on the units as they are being built using precast concrete construction and premium metal cladding.

This will make it durable and efficient, keeping maintenance costs down.

All units are connected to high-speed fibre and CCTV security coverage will be installed throughout the site.
