Early on Thursday morning, a single-vehicle accident ins Stillwater resulted in the death of one person.

On Ara Weiti Road, close to the intersection with East Coast Road, the collision happened around 1:00 am.

Ara Weiti Road is open, but it is anticipated that it will close again for a short time at noon so the car can be recovered.
