The Hibiscus Coast community is gearing up for a fun-filled evening as the annual Orewa New World Santa Parade takes place this Saturday, 23 November.

Coasties of all ages are invited to join in the festive cheer.

The parade begins at 4:30 pm from Alice Avenue, proceeding down Florence Avenue and along the Hibiscus Coast Highway, culminating at the Orewa Beach Reserve car park adjacent to the Orewa Surf Club.

A rain date is set for Sunday, 24 November, at 4:30 pm.

To ensure a smooth and safe event, several road closures will be in effect:

Alice and Edward Avenue: 8 am to 5 pm (residents only)

Florence Avenue: 4 pm to 6 pm

Hibiscus Coast Highway (Westhoe Road to Centreway Road): 4 pm to 6 pm
