The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) has announced overnight roadworks on State Highway 1 (SH1) between Oteha Valley Road and Silverdale interchange on Tuesday, 30 April.

The work, scheduled to take place between 9pm and 5am, is weather dependent and may be rescheduled if necessary.

A full northbound closure will be in place, and the following ramps will also be closed:

• Oteha Valley Road northbound on-ramp
• Silverdale northbound off-ramp
• Dairy Flat BP Service Station off-ramp and on-ramp (no public access)

Signposted detours will be in place, and motorists are advised to use the recommended detour via Oteha Valley Road and Dairy Flat Highway.

Residents and motorists are warned to expect increased noise levels due to paving activities.

NZTA apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the public's cooperation.

Note: Ramp closures and lane restrictions may be in place before the advertised closure times for the mainline.
