The New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA) has issued a works notification for essential maintenance on State Highway 1 (SH1) between Silverdale and Oteha Valley Road.

The maintenance period is scheduled from Monday 8 to Thursday 25 January, taking place between 8 pm and 5 am.

Motorists are advised of southbound lane restrictions spanning approximately 3 km from Awanohi Rd to Oteha Valley Road.

These restrictions are expected to adjust as the works progress.

Please keep in mind that there are increased noise levels during slip repairs near Lonely Track Road as the dedicated team ensures the road is safe.
