Police are advising motorists diversions are in place following a serious crash in Albany this morning.

Emergency services are responding to a crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian on Corinthian Drive, which was reported around 9.43 am.

Initial indications suggest one person has received critical injuries.

The Serious Crash Unit is in attendance.

The road is currently closed and Police ask motorists to avoid the area if possible.
