Southbound lanes on State Highway 1 between the Silverdale interchange and Oteha Valley Road will be restricted during the day on Wednesday 16 April from 11am to 7pm, and Thursday 17 April from 11am to 3pm.

The work is part of scheduled highway maintenance expected to continue through to June 2025.

While traffic will still be able to travel southbound at all times, Coasties are advised to expect delays, slow down, and follow all traffic management instructions.

Ramp closures and lane restrictions may begin before the main closure times.

All work is weather dependent and may shift if conditions change.

You may wish to allow extra time when travelling during the affected hours.
