The NZ Transport Agency has issued a notification regarding scheduled maintenance works on State Highway 1 (SH1) between Oteha Valley Road and Silverdale interchange.
The maintenance is set to take place on Wednesday, 29 November, and Thursday, 30 November, from 9pm to 5am.
The execution of these works is contingent on weather conditions, and if necessary, will be rescheduled for the next available night.
During the specified hours, there will be a full northbound closure, with accompanying closures of the Oteha Valley Road northbound on-ramp, Silverdale northbound off-ramp, and BP Service Station Dairy Flat off-ramp and on-ramp (with no public access).
Signposted detours will be in place to guide motorists around the closures.
Detour Information:
Motorists are advised to follow the recommended detour via Oteha Valley Road and Dairy Flat Highway to navigate around the closed sections.
Noise Advisory:
Residents in the vicinity of the maintenance works should be aware of increased noise levels, as the team will be engaged in paving activities.
The NZ Transport Agency encourages all commuters to plan their journeys accordingly, taking into consideration the closures and detour routes.
Your cooperation and understanding are appreciated as these maintenance works are essential for ensuring the safety and efficiency of State Highway 1.
