Six Auckland FC Players Join All WhitesLocal Stars Join All Whites’ World Cup Quest

It's a proud moment for Auckland FC, with six of the club’s top players chosen to represent New Zealand's national team, the All Whites, in the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.

Vice-captain Tommy Smith headlines the selected players, along with teammates Nando Pijnaker, Francis de Vries, Alex Paulsen, Logan Rogerson, and Jesse Randall.

The call-up, announced this week, showcases Auckland FC’s continued success in developing football talent at the highest level.

The players will join the national training camp on Monday, ahead of a crucial World Cup qualifying semi-final against Fiji, set to be played at Wellington’s Sky Stadium on 21 March.

Auckland FC’s Director of Football, Terry McFlynn, praised the achievement, stating, “We are proud to see six of our players selected for the All Whites’ World Cup squad. This is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the growing strength of football in Auckland.”

Before joining their international teammates, the six will feature in Auckland FC’s match against Australia’s Central Coast Mariners this Sunday at Go Media Stadium, with kick-off at 5 pm.

Both Sunday's club fixture and the All Whites’ upcoming semi-final will be streamed live on FIFA+.
