Stanmore Bay gears up for inflatable waterparkWaterworld the floating inflatable obstacle course will be anchored at Stanmore Bay in January.

Summer is finally here and what better way to celebrate than spending a steaming hot day slipping, sliding and splashing in the cool ocean waters of Stanmore Bay.

Why Stanmore Bay?

That’s where the huge floating inflatable obstacle course, Waterworld, will be from 21-26 January 2023.

For the past five years, the course is anchored at various Auckland beaches during the summer. It was in Red Beach last year and this year, Stanmore Bay will see the floating course anchored in its waters.

There will be slips, slides, and jumps for those over the age of five to enjoy.

Safety is Waterworld’s top priority so everyone on the course will be given a lifejacket to wear. It is imperative that all participants be able to swim. No one will be allowed on the course if they do not pass the swim safety checks.

Most of the staff at Waterworld are qualified lifeguards and will be on the course at all times. Those ticket holders between the ages of five and nine must be accompanied by a paying and participating adult, who must stay within two meters of their children.

One adult per two children will suffice. There’s no doubt that the designated adult will enjoy the course as much as the children do!

Waterworld operates at tidal beaches and some obstacles may be closed during low tide. They recommend older and more confident children visit for two hours on either side of high tide to have the most fun.

In the event of a cancellation due to weather, ticket holders will be contacted to reschedule the booking. No refunds will be given unless there are no future dates available within 14 days of your booked date.

Security at all the venues has been jacked up due to theft and vandalism at Red Beach last year.

Waterworld was fully booked out on the Hibiscus Coast last year so make sure you get your tickets early.

The tickets make amazing Christmas presents for your children and their friends.

Don’t be a fish out of water - go to www.wipeout.co.nz to buy your tickets now.

The tickets cost $22 for an hour’s worth of fun.
