Meet JK and project partners.Curiosity is building around the surf park planned for Dairy Flat.
Sir John Kirwan and project partners Aventuur are hosting a community event on Saturday, February 28 from 9am to noon at Dairy Flat Primary School with locals able to drop in at any time during the informal three-hour session.
The event will be held in the school gymnasium and will outline details from the recently lodged Fast Track substantive application, including residential and Town Centre elements of the 2028 development.
Two-time Olympic surfer Billy Stairmand, fresh off his ninth national men’s open title, will also be there alongside representatives from Spark to answer questions about the associated data centre.
Safe off-road parking is available, a coffee cart will be onsite with free coffee for early arrivals, and the Orewa Surf Lifesaving Club will be running a sausage sizzle.
The project, previously granted approval and expanded to include new amenities, continues to evolve in Dairy Flat, drawing interest from across the Hibiscus Coast and wider Auckland community.
