Police advise, that an accident involving a car and a pedestrian was reported in Albany around 10.05 pm last night.

After being seriously injured in the incident near the intersection of the Albany Highway and Oteha Valley Road, one person was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.

In a second incident, a pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a car on Taharoto Rd in Takapuna at 10.12 am on Sunday.
