The Bayview Dairy on Vipond Road in Stanmore Bay caught fire overnight and burned down.

Multiple calls to the fire department were received around 11.15 pm, according to a Fire and Emergency spokesperson.

According to a FENZ spokesperson, five fire trucks and approximately 20 crew members were deployed.

The fire department had no idea what caused the fire to start.

According to a police spokesperson, officers also responded to the fire, but preliminary investigations indicate that it was not suspicious. 

The dairy owners had not slept all night and are understandably distraught.

There were no reported injuries.
