Anzac Day celebrations on the Hibiscus Coast

Anzac Day on Tuesday, 25th April is a time to reflect on the servicemen and servicewomen, past and present, who have displayed courage and self-sacrifice serving our country.

There will be numerous dawn parades and services across New Zealand to honour those who died in World War 1.

The Anzac dawn and civic services on the Hibiscus Coast will take place at the Hibiscus Coast Community RSA at 43A Vipond Road, Stanmore Bay.

People will assemble at 5.45 am, and the dawn service will take place at 6 am, followed by the civic service at 11 am.

For more information, contact David Dryden, [email protected] or Vini Rangihaeata-Stockman, [email protected]

The service in Waiwera will take place at 2.30 pm at the Upper Waiwera Cenotaph at 711 Weranui Road.
