Anzac Day on Friday, 25 April 2025 offers an opportunity for Coasties to reflect on the bravery and sacrifices of our servicemen and servicewomen.

Here’s a look at the ceremonies happening across the Hibiscus Coast:

Hibiscus Coast Community Anzac Dawn Service

• Assembly: 5:45am at Hibiscus Coast Community RSA, 43A Vipond Rd, Stanmore Bay.
• Service: 6:00am.

Civic Service

• 9:00am at Silverdale War Memorial, Hibiscus Coast Hwy.
• 11:00am at Hibiscus Coast Community RSA, 43A Vipond Rd, Stanmore Bay.

Upper Waiwera Anzac Service

• Service: 2:30pm at Upper Waiwera Cenotaph, 711 Weranui Rd.

Ōrewa Anzac Service

• Service: 1:00pm at Remembrance Reserve, 365 Hibiscus Coast Hwy, Ōrewa.
• Wreath laying at the service.
• Location is 100m north of McDonald's, on the beach side.
