Police are asking for the public’s help after a serious hit-and-run incident on Attwood Road, Paremoremo, yesterday morning.

Just after 7:10am, a white ute travelling towards Paremoremo Road struck two women out walking their dogs.

The vehicle left the scene without stopping.

Emergency services responded quickly, transporting both women to hospital—one with serious injuries, the other with moderate.

The dogs were also hurt in the incident.

Officers believe the ute sustained visible damage in the crash and are urging anyone who may have seen a damaged white ute in the area, or who knows anything about the driver, to get in touch.

Locals who witnessed the crash but haven't yet spoken to Police are also being asked to come forward.
