Celebrate Father’s Day in style at the Hibiscus Coast RSA!
The event will be at 43a Vipond Rd, Stanmore Bay, this Sunday, 1 September.
The event is from 12 to 3 pm and is free entry.
The entire family is encouraged to come.
A lineup of activities and entertainment will be prepared for the whole family to enjoy.
The Best Dad Dancer competition will be on, and your skills in karaoke, as well as your arm wrestling strength, will all be put to the test.
Of course, there will also be a special prize for the best “Dad” joke.
Alan Reeves helps to organise the event alongside the RSA.
He has helped them prepare events over the last two years, including the Mother’s Day celebration.
“Our biggest goal is getting more young people here.”
“People think the RSA is just for old people who fought in the war, but we need more young people here. The RSA is not just that, it is a place for the whole community.”
The RSA regularly hosts events such as line dancing, a children’s disco, and a Hoedown on weekends.
The Father’s Day celebration also features a buffet at $30 per person.
This is a separate cost to the event.
