A former resident of Orewa is set to take the stage for an evening of cabaret that promises to reveal a hidden diabolical nature beneath his ‘boy-next-door’ charm.

Joel Granger is fresh from a sold-out season in Sydney and is hitting the Centrestage in Orewa on Tuesday, 28 November, for an evening of fabulous cabaret in I Am (Not) The Boy Next Door.

Joel, known for his performances in acclaimed shows like The Book of Mormon, Hairspray and Sweeney Todd, promises a spectacular night filled with musical diversity. 

From Golden Age standards to contemporary music theatre, he might even throw in a bold attempt at a pop song or two if he's feeling particularly villainous.

The performance will be held in the elegant Centrestage Theatre foyer, offering a unique and intimate setting.

The doors will open at 7 pm, with the cabaret kicking off at 7.30 pm, promising a night of unforgettable entertainment.

He will be accompanied by Billie Hart on piano.

Tickets for this one-of-a-kind experience are available at just $35 per person, and each ticket includes delectable nibbles at your table.

Seating placement at the table you've booked is on a first-come, first-seated basis during the performance.

For those booking for a large group, it's advised to ensure you book sufficient seats at your table(s) or, if necessary, across multiple tables adjacent to each other. 

There are also seats available on the mezzanine floor, providing an excellent view from above. 

However, patrons must be able to walk up the stairs to access these seats.
