The complex sequence of concrete pours for the State Highway 1 crossing is now complete, marking a significant milestone in the Milldale bridge project.

The steel structure of the bridge has been gradually loaded, and the focus has now shifted to the eastern approach from Highgate Parkway.

The first sections of asphalt are set to be laid soon, with temporary formwork removal and barrier installation scheduled over the next month.

This progress brings the project closer to its next phase.

The reconfiguration of the Highgate Parkway intersection is planned to follow, with a completion target set for December.
