Northbound SH1 narrows Silverdale to Orewa at night, from Tuesday, January 6 to Thursday, January 8.

NZ Transport Agency says it is for stormwater maintenance.

The work runs between 9pm and 5am on each of the three nights, covering the stretch from the Silverdale interchange to the Orewa interchange.

NZTA says there will be northbound lane restrictions while crews complete the maintenance.

Traffic will be able to travel south at all times.

Drivers are asked to slow down and follow traffic management instructions.
