It’s a good feeling when a local favourite gets recognised.

The Top 50 finalists have been revealed in NZ’s Best Beach 2026 competition, and Orewa Beach has been shortlisted in three categories: Best Family Beach, Best City Beach, and Best Camping Beach.

Voting is open now, and you have until 11.59pm on Sunday, January 25, to vote for your favourites in each category.

Votes are cast online.

Winners will be announced on Sunday, February 1.
