Second fire in days destroys Gulf Harbour Country ClubOvernight blaze engulfs club house

A devastating fire broke out at the Gulf Harbour Country Club just before midnight, leaving the main building in ruins.

This is the second fire to hit the property in a matter of days, with the first fire occurring just a few days ago.

More than 50 firefighters from across Auckland were called to the scene to battle the blaze.

Upon arrival, the Manly Volunteer Fire Brigade upgraded the alarm to a 3rd level, prompting 26 additional Fire and Emergency appliances from the North Shore and Auckland Central to assist.

Fortunately, the building was empty, and no one was injured.

The fire has completely destroyed much of the main building, with the structure now largely reduced to rubble.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the police, who are working to determine if the two fires are related.
