Daytime works on SH1 between Silverdale and Oteha Valley Road will bring southbound lane restrictions next week.

From Monday 24 to Friday 28 November, crews will be working between 11am and 8pm each day to install a fence near the southbound lanes between the Silverdale interchange and Oteha Valley Road.

During this period there will be lane restrictions for southbound traffic, but vehicles will still be able to travel south at all times.

Drivers are asked to slow down and follow traffic management instructions through the work area.

Nearby properties may notice increased noise while the work is underway, and motorists should allow extra time for possible delays while the lane restrictions are in place.
