Woolworths New Zealand has been bustling with activity, making waves in the local retail scene.

Their new digital app, MILKRUN, has skyrocketed in popularity since its launch in Auckland and Wellington this past July.

And now, the eagerly awaited rebrand from Countdown to Woolworths has finally landed on the Hibiscus Coast, with the Silverdale store shedding its old signage today.

Woolworths' comeback is part of a massive transformation plan, with a projected investment of $400 million.

The journey to transition the entire network of 194 Countdown stores across the country to Woolworths is expected to take a couple of years.
